Great clients make for great design. Here‘s some feedback from clients who needed corporate branding and identity makeovers.
Jace The Real Estate Company
The mission was to develop a distinctive new identity
for a brokerage opened by a well known regional realtor who made his break to independence. The design builds on his previous high name recognition and reinforces his special expertise (“Always Call Jace for Land”). He has exploited this distinctive identity widely in his market area’s media. The resulting brand recognition has helped build on his progress as an agent for a national real estate firm to develop a growing market share for his independent company.
“Laurel truly ‘got’ what Jace is about. Her communication skills are excellent. And she really understood that I wanted to build the Jace logo, not as just an icon, but as a brand. The result truly matched our needs and wants. We have the most sophisticated, intelligent, sexy logo that any real estate company ever had.”

Our assignment was to produce a uniquely professional corporate identity for a seasoned investment advisor. The goal was to carry forward and support her formidable reputation while building credibility for her new firm. A subsequent collateral campaign disseminated the new logo design to the NLJ client base. The favorable response increased market awareness and elevated the founder’s professional stature.
“Laurel’s work is head and shoulders above other graphic designers. She’s the gold standard. Her graphic design provides an identity our clients value. Our materials look coordinated and professional – letterhead, business cards, presentation folders, everything, starting with a corporate logo. The package makes our work look more professional so therefore the likelihood it will be taken seriously is increased.
“Laurel’s a terrific resource. If you hired some New York ad agency, imagine the overhead you’d be paying with all those staff people running around. I doubt you’d achieve a better result.”
-- Nancy Jacob, President/Managing Principal, NLJ Advisors, Vancouver, WA
Tender Touches Spa’s marketing efforts were being hampered by a poorly conceived logo acquired when they were just starting. This business is well established upon the quality of their spa experience. An true sense of their value was not communicated by the original logo. We created an identity makeover for them. With their new logo, Tender Touches Spa has enjoyed markedly more favorable notice within their target market, better response to advertising, and growth in their client base.
“I paid a lot of money for my first logo. I never really liked it. But Laurel’s work is just outstanding. It speaks volumes in many different ways – who we are, what we stand for – it’s a very classy, nice, clean cut logo. That she would be able to turn this around is just amazing. And all her work is that way. Crisp, clear, and precise, it makes a statement. Laurel is very good at what she does.”
